And then let’s journal about our adventures today i’m going to try to try and panda bear like those celia has your drawing going good but remember the ears are black today we visited some giant pandas in china watch out it can be slippery me up with julie and i started our adventure with a long drive to get to chengdu that’s a city in china and where the chandu panda breeding research center is way up in the mountains joanna what does breeding mean again it means they have baby pens there baby pandas here we come look at the river cool look at the big mountains yeah cool look over there the top i never seen mountains as tough as this before julia let’s name the mountains mountain and mount julia yeah panda bears are my favorite bears there are only about a thousand pandas left in the wild they like to live in the mountains because there’s bamboo there i think pandas live here bamboo just what panda is like that’s what i was saying maybe live in me all here cause there’s family shoots everywhere do you think pandas could be in there i think so wow i think the panda bears live down there i i thought i saw them really in there what does it look like it looks like black and white like a zebra no not like a zebra oh i see a pound in there cool a real one a real panda bear okay there’s another one over there look at it cool over there pandas hello we didn’t just find panda bears we also found our friend tom he knows all about pandas hey yes yes why do you like panda bears it’s very lovely very beautiful color and a very friendly two pandas eat bamboo like this yes you see the panels every day eats bamboos lovely vamps do you have any baby pandas sure we have many can we see them of course can we feed the big pandas first okay if you want yeah tonk took us to the kitchen to make special panda bread there are lots of vitamins in it to keep the pandas healthy ready to make bread julia yeah okay this is a sister town she can show you how to make bread we took the dough rolled it up make a ship and then put it in a pan time should we put the bread in the oven now you want to do it lunch time panda bears lunch slime the older panda bears get lots and lots of bamboo yeah it’s very heavy huh it’s not heavy okay that’s because tongue is helping us hey there look lunch time for pandas lunchtime candy bears panda bears need 40 pounds of bamboo each day that’s a lot of bamboo and he doesn’t just eat bread he eats carrots and apples and he can eat it himself just a sec okay yeah you would think you picked him up you want another apple yeah okay what’s his name yeah quickly yeah yeah hi creek okay don’t show us some crafts that are made out of a secret ingredient what is it ah this is a stew of a panda cool stew stew of the pan first you know we tried it to sail to the visitors the center makes paper and masks out of dry panda poop many babies do you have her oh we have a lot of babies here here’s a baby yeah that is a baby here uh every year we got over 10 or 15 sometimes 18 19 babies can we see them sure can we hit them sure you can how long until a bit a baby panda goes into a big panda i think it takes a long time you’re right we had a very good time meeting pandas in china hi tom hi if before you need would you like to feed our baby panda yes thank you!
